2. User Accounts & Fair Play

To participate in tournaments, users must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

Fair Play: We strictly prohibit the use of chess engines, bots, or external assistance of any kind during a match. Violation of fair play rules will result in immediate disqualification from the tournament, adjustment of standings, and permanent account suspension.

3. Tournament Rules & Conduct

All participants must adhere to the specific rules of the tournament format they enter (e.g., time controls, Swiss pairing rules, Arena rules). The decisions of platform arbiters regarding pairings, tie-breaks, and fair-play violations are final.

4. Ratings

The ratings displayed on joyspinnerripple.digital are platform-specific and are calculated using the Glicko-2 rating system. They do not represent official FIDE, USCF, or any other national federation ratings, nor do we claim any affiliation with these organizations.

5. Modification of Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated via platform announcements. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
